The Different Perfumes L’Eau d’Issey for Men

The Different Perfumes L'Eau d'Issey for Men

Between East and West, Issey Miyake’s style is above all minimalist. After learning ready-to-wear from the brands Givenchy and Guy Laroche, Issey Miyake decided to enter the world of fashion and presented his first fashion show in 1973. He then entered the world of perfumery in 1992 with a refined fragrance, in its image “L’Eau d’Issey pour Femme”. Simple, but obvious, the Eau d’Issey pour Homme fragrance was launched in 2016 and takes on the DNA of its female counterpart.

The citrus cocktail at the heart of Eau d’Issey pour Homme

Equally refined, Eau d’Issey pour Homme retains the same spirit as its predecessor. The fragrance is intended for a dynamic, active and free man. Man Issey Miyake once again draws his strength from the water, the source of life. L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme Eau de Toilette Fraiche exudes feelings of strength and virility. Timeless, Eau d’Issey pour Homme will leave a trail that is as fresh as it is manly. Its composition takes off on the freshness of a citrus cocktail and combines yuzu, orange, lemon, grapefruit.

Its heart contains geranium, lavender, sage, water lily enhanced by the spicy notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and saffron. Finally, the base is ultra sensual and associates benzoin, sandalwood, vetiver, cypress, amber and musks.

The aquatic tones of Eau Majeure d’Issey

With the version of Eau Majeure d’Issey , Issey Miyake has chosen to put water back at the heart of the fragrance. Here, water is indeed the symbol of masculinity and natural strength. Issey Miyake lets the elements come to us. Between citrus and marine accord, L’Eau Majeure d’Issey presents itself as a masculine fragrance that is at the same time simple, aquatic and terribly beautiful. The composition takes off on the lively freshness of bergamot and grapefruit.

Its heart is loaded with marine notes, combined with a salty accord, giving here all its character to the composition. Finally, the base is delicately sensual and harmoniously blends cashmere wood with a woody complex. Like its composition, the L’Eau Majeure d’Issey bottle is purified and elegant, and uses the main codes of its predecessor. Flat with a contemporary silhouette, the glass reveals the navy blue color of the nectar, in total harmony with its content.

The noble materials of the Nuit d’Issey

Between attraction and daring, Issey Miyake presents here a new variation with the Nuit d’Issey . It is a duo of talented perfumers, namely Loc Dong and Dominique Ropion, who have developed this reinterpretation in a lively and daring way. Courageous and mysterious, the man Issey Miyake attracts here thanks to his hidden qualities. Lively and powerful, Nuit d’Issey is a fragrance that sounds like an ode to wood and highlights noble materials, such as leather or black wood. The composition begins with a citrus combination of grapefruit and bergamot.

The heart is powerful and combines leather and vetiver. Finally, the base is ultra sensual and harmoniously blends patchouli and tonka bean. If the bottle takes up the main codes of the elegance of the Nuit d’Issey, it displays here a most mysterious bluish black color transporting us directly to the heart of the night.

Fresh and elegant, Eau d’Issey pour Homme resembles its feminine counterpart. Refined, the fragrance is based on water that it seems to shape in different ways. All its variations reveal unique emotions, but all join the DNA of the original fragrance, namely masculinity.
