Serge Majoullier’s career

Like many perfumers, Serge Majoullier was born in Grasse. The latter very quickly turned to chemistry studies with a view to one day integrating the perfume sector. Indeed, how not to succumb to the call of smells having grown up in this region dotted with fields of flowers and known worldwide for its perfumes? Then, very early on, he joined the analysis and chromatography department of the Mane company. Still within the same group, he joined the essential oils and floral products department. This is how he became a nose. His innate know-how for smells and his passion for perfumes earned him recognition quickly. Likewise, it allowed him to rise to the highest peak of his art until he reached the post of director of perfumery in 1995. Serge Majoullier is endowed with a highly developed creative sense. Nevertheless, he is also passionate about research. As such, he still maintains a foothold in this field and works more particularly on the various extraction processes and on the development of raw materials.

Serge Majoullier’s sources of inspiration

Serge Majoullier confides: “Nature is of course my main source of inspiration. “. Private. Besides our planet as a source of creativity, Serge Majoullier also enjoys stimulating his imagination through cooking. He particularly likes the associations imagined by chefs and sees the profession of the cook as an art which in many ways resembles perfumery. Thus, he very often develops gourmet fragrances. Serge Majoullier is the author of many perfumes. Among his emblematic creations, he also counts Elle l’Aime by Lolita Lempicka, Bonbon by Viktor & Rolf, in collaboration with Cécile Matton, and the Parfum de Nuxe.
